Santa Coloma de Farners, our local market on a Monday and Saturday until 13.30.

GIRONA MARKETS - http://www.girona.cat/turisme/eng/shopping.php  Girona is an excellent centre for shops; clothes, crafts, jewellery, shoes etc. The local markets are held every Tuesday and Saturday mornings, with a weekly Saturday Painting Market and additional Craft and Artisan Markets and annual events.

PLATJA D'ARO - www.platjadaro.com  Platja d'Aro has an excellent selection of clothes, shoe and jewellery shops. Local market day is a Friday.

ROCA VILLAGE - www.larocavillage.com  Shopping Outlet, under cover. Exit 12A of AP-7 peaje road.

ESPAI, GIRONA - www.espaigirones.com  Shopping Centre, under cover. 10 minutes from Casa Nova Girona.

LA BISBAL D'EMPORDA - La Bisbal d'Emporda is the centre of ceramic production. It has one long road lined with pottery and ceramic shops and one long road lined with antique shops.

SANTA COLOMA DE FARNERS - Santa Coloma de Farners, after Girona, is our nearest large town. Here there are 3 good, large supermarkets on the outskirts and a good selection of vegetable shops, bakers, butchers, fish shops, chemist, post office, clothes and jewellery shops. The main square is a lovely place for a refreshment. Market days are Monday and Saturday.

VILOBI D'ONYAR - Vilobi d'Onyar is a 5 minute drive from Casa Nova Girona. It has a small selection of shops in it's centre including supermarkets, a bakers, vegetable shop, butcher and fish shop. On the outskirts is the AGROBOTIGA EL FORN selling organic foods and vegetables, plants and bodega wine from the cask.
